FROM THE EDITOR'S DESKThe entrepreneur is forced to invest with imagination, to manage and preserve our resources, but it is necessary that the private sector be guaranteed stability in order to produce income. The Government shares responsibility in this issue, since it must guarantee everybody's safety, and it also has to coordinate efforts and refrain from making decisions that benefit only a few.
Offering quality services is only part of the answer. For a small country like Guatemala, the only strategy leading to economic growth is to back up on our exports, according to the findings presented by researcher María del Carmen Aceña, in our Point of View section.
