Quiz #1. July 24, 1996

Email your replies to gpasch@gslis.utexas.edu. You can send two separate email messages - but please, no more than one message per question!
Question 1:
Using the Internet tools you learned this week, find at least two libraries in Texas (preferably, both in the Austin area) that have "The Whole Internet" by Ed Krol (any edition, and it doesn't matter if the item is currently borrowed.) Send me via email the name of the libraries and a short description of how you found the information (including false leads and problems you encountered.)

Question 2:
A friend and I are having a disagreement about the poem "song" by Ezra Pound. She says it starts like this: "Winter is comin' in", I say that's too plain for Ezra Pound. We believe that the poem is available at the "Online Book Initiative" ftp site, (ftp.std.com) and it would probably be in the directory /obi/Ezra.Pound -- Please find the poem, send me the first line, and tell me briefly what you did.
